Our Workshop, in the context of exploring local architectural styles in various areas of Greece, is starting a special presentation on Mt. Pelion's architecture. We present some pictures of houses and buildings of Pelion, part of o photographic collection taken in 1979 for a graduate study of Thanassis Zoulias in Paris (L'evolution urbaine des villages a Pelion - Institut d'Urbanisme - Paris 1979). An interesting subject of research is born, after almost 25 years, on the situation of these buildings today. Do they still exist? Have they been restored, and how? Have they collapsed and, if so, what has been built in their place? Any participation in this research, from whoever may be dealing with Pelion's architecture, is welcome and will be registered and acknowledged by name on this site.
